I don't think so, that sounds like something a therapist would say. I don't trust therapists, because they "know" about people and are supposed to give advice, but everyone is different. I don't know why he's a bully, but I'm pretty sure it has nothing to do with his house.
Yes I agree with Rotem that John is not a bully because of his house. It is a possibility, but there are so many other reasons (such as wanting to be like his dad, or having such a beat up life)that being a bully because of his house has a slim chance of being the true reason.
I think that john is not a bully because of his house but because of his father or untold of mother. He could also be a bully because of a scaring event.
i agree with Rotem as well. i think that a possible reason for john being a bully is that he doesn't have a mother, his father isn't that nice and caring, and he was brought up in a tough neighborhood/home(e.g. smoking, drinking)
i agree with maya. the fact that john is a bully because of his house doesnt really make sense to me. i think its because of how tough is life is (the pure pressure of drinking and smoking)
