I don't see how that would be a hyperbole, but I have no idea how it got there. Maybe it's because some animal got into the McNabbs' house and ate a bird there.
autopsy is when you dissect something that is all ready dead to figure out how it died. I don't think this is hyperbole because yes it would make the McNab's house all the more revolting, but in retrospect with the rest of the house this is completely normal.
yes I agree that finding the cause of death of that bird is probably not one of the things the McNab's were interested in. More of just taking out all the intestines and other organs for fun.
I aggree with jacob but it could be possible that the two little ones did it. Or the word could by used to discribe what a horrific mess was made of the bird.
i also agree with jacob. but i think this could possibly be hyperbole to exaggerate how disgusting and filthy the mcnab house is. i dont think it is meant to be a hyperbole, but it is possible
